As a broker, I thrive in building and nurturing long lasting business partnerships. The job is not just about sales – it‘s about the promotion, marketing, merchandising, and consulting necessary for brand knowledge, company growth and small business success.

For the cigar companies I represent, my brokerage bridges the commerce gap with all cigar-related businesses, including retail stores, distributors, online and catalog vendors. My territory coverage spans the entire Mid-Atlantic region, including my home state of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. In 2000, I was hired by Cigar Aficionado as an editorial assistant for their online division. In 2002, I worked as the magazine‘s tasting coordinator responsible for the publication’s ratings. In 2005, I was hired as regional sales manager for Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, and over the next 12 years, I helped grow territory sales by greater than 300%. In 2017, I was promoted to vice president of marketing for Rocky Patel. And in 2019, I ventured out on my own, starting my cigar sales brokerage called Box Press Sales & Marketing.
